Panisuffrutin A,a highly degraded seco-triterpene derivative from Paeonia suffruticosa var. papaveracea (Andr.) Kerner

Panisuffrutin A (1), a highly degraded seco-triterpene derivative, together with the known palbinone, has been isolated from the whole plant Paeonia suffruticosa var. papaveracea (Andr.) Kerner. The structure with absolute configuration of 1 was determined via comprehensive NMR and MS analyses, as well as NMR and ECD calculations. A plausible biosynthetic pathway for 1 was proposed. Compound 1 showed weak cytotoxicity against Hela cancer cell line with an IC₅₀ value of 26.2 μM, while palbinone exhibited a moderate inhibition on NO production with an IC₅₀ of 18.3 μM.     

Efficient glycosylation with glycosyl ortho-allylbenzoates as donors

Glycosylation reactions are significant as they provide access to model compounds that are useful for elucidating biochemical pathways. Herein, we describe the development of glycosyl ortho-alkynylbenzoates as novel, bench-top stable, and readily available glycosyl donors. Glycosylation is promoted by inexpensive trimethylsilyl triflate (TMSOTf) in combination with N-iodosuccinimide (NIS) under mild reaction conditions; hence, the novel glycosyl donors are promising reagents for the synthesis of glycosides.

Cascaded DNA circuits-programmed self-assembly of spherical nucleic acids for high signal amplification

Signal amplification is an important issue in DNA nanotechnology and molecular diagnostics. In this work, we report a strategy for the catalytic self-assembly of spherical nucleic acids(SNAs) programmed by two-layer cascaded DNA circuits through integrating an entropy-driven catalytic network, a catalytic hairpin assembly circuit, and a facile SNA assembly-based reporter system. This integrated system could implement ～100,000-fold signal amplification in the presence of 1 p M of input target.Possessing powerful amplification ability of nucleic acid signal, our strategy should be of great potential in fabricating more robust dynamic networks to be applied for signal transduction, DNA computing, and nucleic acid-based diagnostics.

基于分子工程的方法设计首例具有Sr2Be2B2O7 (SBBO)结构的深紫外氟碳酸盐双折射晶体AMgLi2(CO3)2F (A=K,Rb)※

分子结构设计是开发新化合物和通过原子尺度操纵优化晶体结构的一种引人注目的策略. 在这个工作中, 利用分子工程的思想, 基于SBBO结构, 成功设计并合成两个新型氟碳酸盐KMgLi₂(CO₃)₂F和RbMgLi₂(CO₃)₂F. 在两个结构中, a-b平面是由CO₃和LiO₃F阴离子基团组成的无限[Li₃C₃O₆F₃]_∞层, 进一步相邻的层通过F原子连接形成一个独特的[Li₆C₆O₁₂F₃]_∞双层. 这种结构特征对改善晶体的层状生长习性和消除晶体的多晶性有很大的帮助. 光学测试表明, 该系列晶体具有大的双折射和短的紫外截止边, 是深紫外双折射晶体良好的候选材料.     

Feasible Tuning of Surface OVs on (001) TiO2 for Superior Photocatalytic Nitrogen Fixation Activity

A feasible tuning method for oxygen vacancies was realized by annealing under 3 atm H₂ with (001)-exposed TiO₂ nanosheets. 原子系综中光学腔增强的Duan-Lukin-Cirac-Zoller写过程激发实验

原子系综中的Duan-Lukin-Cirac-Zoller(DLCZ)过程是产生光与原子(量子界面)量子关联和纠缠的重要手段.当一束写光与原子发生作用时,将会产生斯托克斯(Stokes)光子的自发拉曼散射,并同时产生一个自旋波(spin-wave)存储在原子系综中,上述过程即为DLCZ量子记忆产生过程.这一过程被广泛地研究.本文将87Rb原子系综放入驻波腔,并使Stokes光子与光学腔共振,我们观察到有腔且锁定的情况下Stokes光子产生概率比无腔时增大了8.7倍.在此条件下研究了Stokes光子产生概率和写光功率的关系,Stokes光子产生概率随写光功率线性增大.
